Omani Coffee

Social traditions are very significant in all walks of life in the Sultanate of Oman. Serving Omani coffee (along with dates or Omani halwa) is a remarkable token of hospitality in guest rooms, and in official and social celebrations. This coffee is kept in a dalla (pot) made locally of copper. The most famous of these pots is the Nizwani Dalla which is named after Nizwa where it is made.
