Omani dress reflects cultural diversity and social authenticity. Men wear the "dishdasha" with the "kumma" or with the "mussar". They also wear the  khanjar and “bisht” on formal occasions. Women’s dress varies by region and often consists of three pieces: The headscarf, embroidered “dishdasha”, and decorated pants.  These are usually embellished with Omani silver jewellery.
