The Sultan Qaboos Mosque, an Islamic architectural monument built using several ancient styles of Islamic architecture, is the biggest mosque in the Sultanate of Oman. Standing in the middle of beautiful gardens and trees, the Mosque is surrounded by five spiralling minarets representing the five pillars of Islam and includes a lecture hall, a library, and an institute of Islamic studies.
